Braselton Celebrates 100 Years!

There are many treasures to discover in Historic Downtown Braselton.  Even if you have visited in the past, new ones await your return!

The town has undergone a redevelopment plan that is designed to revitalize the existing downtown.  The plan called for the addition of Town Green. This will be the new home to great new shops and restaurants.

Many of the town’s historic buildings have been renovated in keeping with the charm and small town feel Braselton has been known for since the Braselton Brothers first opened a store in the early 1900’s.

On August 20th, 2016, Braselton will host a Centennial Celebration Festival. It will take place on the Town Green next to the historic Braselton Brothers Store Complex from 2pm until 10pm. There will be live entertainment from Fly Betty Band, lots of food trucks, activities downtown, face painting and lots of other family fun activities and games, contests, fireworks, and who could forget the 100th celebration cake made especially for the special day! There will be fun giveaways and activities are free!

So come celebrate our 100th birthday and enjoy a day in Braselton. Don’t forget about our events throughout the year including family friendly movies shown in Braselton Park to outdoor concerts, antique and garden festivals, and other holiday events. Check out the excitement as the city continues to grow and see why Braselton is a premier live, work and play community with a past to preserve and a future to mold.
