What better time than now? After all, the registration deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 6. The event offers an opportunity to give back through charity, while promoting good health.

Presented by Gwinnett Medical Center, the event begins at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 10, at the Gwinnett Chamber parking lot and will conclude there as well.

New to this year”s race: The Charity Challenge, which is a way for every participant to support their favorite non-profit organization while promoting healthy competition among teams and charities.

“Gwinnett residents are passionate about their sports and as the state”s leading sports medicine provider, so are we,” said Phil Wolfe, president and CEO, Gwinnett Medical Center. “As we maintain our commitment to transforming healthcare, we are looking forward to supporting our active community at the Gwinnett Chamber”s Button Down Dash.”

Gwinnett, Children”s Healthcare of Atlanta, Covenant Counseling & Family Resource Center, Dream House for Medically Fragile Children, Inc., Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful, Hi-Hope Service Center, Ric Crawford Clinic, Rainbow Village, Inc., and When Everyone Survives Foundation.
