Aurora Theatre has assembled the best children”s performers in the region for a holiday season that guarantees lots of fun. This year, the theatre will offer a tremendous variety and many audience favorites.
The holiday show line up includes:
Sing Along with Santa
On December 8 at 10 and 11 a.m., audience favorite Wendy Bennett makes her holiday arrival with “Sing Along with Santa.” Join Wendy, her lovely voice and big green puppet as they ring in the Christmas season. You”ll hear traditional Christmas music as well as some you may have never heard before, including: Christmas Time”s A Comin”, Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Santa Claus is Comin” to Town, Jingle Bells and the stories “The Mitten and The Shoemaker” and “The Elves.” Come to see singing, guitar playing, storytelling, sled riding, jingle bell playing and even be a part of the show as there will be lots of opportunity for audience participation. “Twas the Night Before Christmas
Back for an eighth straight year with the holiday classic “Twas the Night Before Christmas, Piccadilly Puppets on December 15 at 10 and 11 a.m. The story is told from the point of view of a mouse that was actually there and saw what really happened on that very special night. Having entertained generations of families with puppet shows for over 30 years, it”s no surprise they continue to play to sell-out crowds.
Trouble in Toyland

Aurora Children”s Playhouse holiday finale will be Trouble in Toyland on December 22 at 10 and 11 a.m. There”s big trouble at the North Pole this year!
