The City of Duluth will hold a memorial service on Town Green to commemorate the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

“We want to take the time and remember those who lost their lives, risked their lives and are still dealing with the after effects of the attack,” said Event Coordinator Madison Chucci.

The service will include a brief history on the 9/11 memorial “Dream Keepers” created by Kathy Fincher that has a permanent home on Town Green, song and a moment of reflection. The service will take place from 6-6:15pm.

The community is encouraged to attend. Following the service, the Duluth City Council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 7pm. For more information, visit http://www.duluthga.net/calendar.php
