Georgia”s most visited attraction celebrates the recent opening of Stone Mountain Christmas, kicking off the 2011 holiday season with more than 2 million lights twinkling throughout Stone Mountain Park.
The winter holidays come to life during Stone Mountain Christmas. Other Christmas family activities include the nightly Christmas Parade, screenings at the “Polar Express 4-D Experience,” storytelling with Mrs. Claus, visits with Santa and a finale flyover including the magic of the Snow Angel creating snow and bringing fireworks to the park. Festive food, handmade gifts and holiday treats are also available throughout the park.
