The application deadline is fast approaching for Gwinnett vendors and artists interested in being a part of the 28th annual Sandy Springs Festival – a two-day community and arts festival scheduled for Sept. 21-22.
Aug. 9 is the final day to apply to participate in the event, which offers artists, businesses, non-profits, restaurants and food trucks an opportunity to be involved in the festival.
Fees start at $300 for food vendors and $200 for business and non-profit organizations.
Established in 1984, the Sandy Springs Festival has grown from a small picnic to the largest public event in the area, drawing approximately 25,000 attendees.
As the primary fundraiser for Heritage Sandy Springs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community through preserving and promoting the historic and cultural identity of Sandy Springs, the Festival features two days of family-friendly activities, entertainment and more.# The festival also includes the Doug Kessler Sandy Springs Lightning 5K/10K race, a juried Artist”s Market, a Children”s Park and Teen Territory, the annual Kiwanis Pet Parade, Heritage Education Area, Live Entertainment and more.
