Golf and business have always gone together like a putter and a smooth green. The characteristics that enable golfers to reach their full potential – commitment to excellence, a desire to learn and an endless work ethic – are the same tools required to achieve the top rungs in a business person”s chosen field.

At the inaugural Executive Women”s Day during the Greater Gwinnett Championship Presented by Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating on Monday, April 14th, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from the business and career experiences of some of the most prominent women leaders throughout the metro-Atlanta community. Topics include corporate leadership, career growth, economic advancement and network expansion.

This very special, and very enriching day, includes a speaker panel sponsored by Georgia United Credit Union, lunch with the keynote speaker, and a behind the scenes tour of TPC Sugarloaf to get an up close view of how a major professional golf tournament is run.

The day concludes with the Wine-Down, Network-Up mixer sponsored by Primerica where attendees will continue to learn and grow. Among the panelists are prominent local and national businesswomen such as Melinda Ashcraft, (retired) President of Six Flags Entertainment; Lee Birdsong, Director of Digital Media at Southern Company; Marci Fair, Owner Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners, Founder Kares 4 Kids, Best Selling Author and Mompreneur; Social Researcher and Best Selling Author Shaunti Feldhahn, and Debbie Smith, President / Chief Executive Officer of Georgia United Credit Union.

The event will be moderated by television journalist Jovita Moore, News Anchor for Channel 2 Action news. For tickets and tables visit www.GreaterGwinnettChampionship.com or call 770-232-7872.
