Branch Christian Community School
Branch offers accelerated and gifted education in a nurturing Christian environment to students in preschool through ninth grade. This year, small class sizes underscore every level assuring motivational support, personal attention and student-centered involvement.

Curriculum is introduced and expanded through block scheduling, which incorporates both directed seatwork and hands-on interaction. Student-centered lesson plans layer skills, allowing students to advance – discovering and using other talents not always recognized through traditional approaches in education.

Branch teachers have a minimum of four-year degrees, and are required to have continuing education courses yearly. Specialized training in linguistics aids in teaching students with mild to moderate dyslexia or language processing delays.

Utilizing auditory and visual components, books are seen and heard, information comes alive in sight and sound (fully Internet connected), and students can write and manipulate lessons on the board interactively.

Branch also offers an in-house hot lunch program, after-school camps and clubs, daily classes in fine arts and theatre arts, summer bridge programs and much more. Branch was founded in 1989 and has grown from the "little red school house" in Lawrenceville to the new 5.5-acre campus on Braselton Highway. www.brancheducation.com

Greater Atlanta Christian School
As Greater Atlanta Christian School approaches her 40th year, leaders and staff remain focused on their core purpose — raising children of character. Our priority is to prepare students to leave for college with the strongest thinking skills, hearts hungry for service and grounded with a faith in God.

The school is small enough for students to thrive as individuals, yet large enough to provide ample opportunities for participation in a wide range of programs.

Recently, the school launched a successful four-year campaign, raising $30 million with generous gifts from parents and friends. The Higher Ground Campaign will fund a senior high complex addition and renovation, a new aquatic center, upgrades to the fine arts building, an environmental learning center and a new 3,100-seat forum. It also provided for endowments including facility care, Christian life and faculty growth.

Every student is valued and given the resources to achieve academically, socially and spiritually. Mission trips, ministry experiences, stellar athletics, debate and math teams, theatre and visual arts open student”s eyes to possibilities in their future. As college approaches, students find themselves well prepared and sought after by top universities around the world. www.greateratlantachristian.org
