The City of Braselton has a rich heritage and the unique characteristic of not only being located in Gwinnett County, but also Hall, Jackson and Barrow. Add the thriving residential community and world-class amenity that is Château Élan to the excellent business location on the I-85 business corridor, and you have a premier live, work and play community that boasts an excellent quality of life. Braselton focuses on small town values, ensuring positive and smart growth for its future.

Food and Fashion

Braselton’s delectable dining selections continue to expand. With the debut of Cotton Calf Kitchen in the historic Braselton Brothers Department Store building, the sizzle of big city, dry-aged steaks arrives in downtown Braselton. The 120-seat white tablecloth classic American steakhouse’s name pays tribute both to the menu’s cuisine and the turn-of-the-century Braselton cotton gin building located across the street. In addition to the formal dining room, Cotton Calf Kitchen offers a roomy lounge and bar area. The restaurant also features a private dining room and a 20-seat outdoor patio facing the city’s eagerly anticipated amphitheater.

Feel free to indulge. Afterwards, you can burn off any guilt with some shopping at Braselton’s newest retail addition. Located in the historic Braselton Brothers General Store building, Naked South Boutique offers modern and fashionable apparel as well as home décor. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine while you shop or cozy up by the concrete fire-pit in front of the store (only in the fall and winter, of course).

Georgia and Florida residents can even have wines shipped directly through the new Online Wine Store. Also, a Wine Club just recently launched, offering special benefits to its members. Consider Château Élan for your next wedding, meeting or weekend get-away.

Buy Local Braselton

The Town of Braselton recently launched the Buy Local Braselton program. Buy Local Braselton is devoted to promoting and supporting the local businesses that create and maintain the distinctive character, unique community and economic strength of Braselton. Braselton has almost 600 licensed businesses within town limits, spread across 4 counties; Jackson, Hall, Barrow and Gwinnett. We are working to bring connectivity to Braselton, through branding, and networking among businesses, to make residents and visitors more aware of the shopping (and playing) opportunities available right here in Braselton.

Braselton also turns 100 this year. We’re celebrating this milestone by hosting many centennial events throughout the year. With the Centennial in mind, we held our Buy in Braselton event on April 9th, the 100th day of 2016.

Throughout the remainder of the year,  businesses will be offering promotions, door prizes, raffles and sales to celebrate the Town’s Centennial. We’ll continue to list them on the www.facebook.com/BuyLocalBraselton page. We hope to do another Buy in Braselton Day later in the year as the program continues to grow.
