Norcross Keeps the Blues Alive for Upcoming Weekend Festival

Fresh locally grown blueberries, a mini-beerfest and an exciting lineup of authentic blues artists are on this year”s BluesBerry Festival slated for June 16 in Downtown Historic Norcross.

From 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., Truett Lollis, T-Grease Johnson and internationally acclaimed Little G Weevil will be heating up the stage in Betty Mauldin Park, located at the corner of Jones and Lawrenceville Streets#in Downtown Historic Norcross. Bring chairs and blankets and prepare to hang out for an evening of awesome blues!

Beginning at 4 p.m., The Iron Horse Tavern (29 Jones St.)#is hosting a mini-beerfest – enjoy a satisfying number of samplings from Atlanta breweries Monday Night Brewing, Sweetwater Brewery, Terrapin Beer Company and Red Hare Brewing.

Local restaurants will be hosting live music and blueberry chef specials beginning that morning, including a Cuban/Luau pig roast at Bleu House Market on College St. Local shops will offer daily specials and blueberry treats to sample while you stroll through town.
