Veterans Day week is the perfect time to honor those who have served in our nation”s armed forces. It is also the time for the annual Stone Mountain Chorus Fall Show program, which treats audiences to the best in four-part harmony in the metropolitan Atlanta area. This year”s program features musical selections honoring the memories and traditions of our beloved South. The festivities will take place at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Duluth on Friday, Nov. 12 at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The 60-man Stone Mountain Chorus and its chapter quartets will treat the audience to a wide variety of close, four-part harmony singing. This uniquely American musical art form delighted audiences for three performances in 2009. The featured guest quartet is the OC Times, 2008 International Quartet Champions. OC Times is one of the most popular and talented quartets in the barbershop harmony world and their appearance is definitely a plus for the Atlanta area audiences.

Advanced purchase tickets are $22. All tickets purchased at the door are $25. Groups of 12 or more, senior adults (over 60 years of age) and full-time students may take advantage of an $18 discounted advanced purchase ticket price for the Friday 8:30 p.m. and Saturday 3 p.m. performances only.
