For those in the high-tech world, companies or users, you can now keep up-to-date on the latest developments through the Technology Forum.
Held every month at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the Technology Forum covers a different topic each time, from Internet security to wireless communication.
Presently, there are more than 750 technology companies in Gwinnett with more coming in every year, and along with that growth, comes an increased demand to keep abreast of technology. In the past, the high-tech sector had to drive out of Gwinnett to keep informed until some Chamber members expressed a desire for a local technology meeting, and the forum was begun. Each meeting gives attendees the opportunity to network with other high-tech companies, listen to company presentations, get business leads and obtain information from the help desk. At the beginning of each year, the coming technology outlook (what to expect throughout the year) is presented to those in attendance.
The Technology Forum is held at no cost to attendees and meets from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. every fourth Thursday. For more information, call Alicia Krogh at 770-232-8809 or e-mail her at email@example.com.
