Hollis Cobb Expands Regional Headquarters in Gwinnett County

Hollis Cobb Associates, a leading accounts receivable management company, joined Georgia Department of Economic Development and Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development to announce the expansion of its regional headquarters in the Gwinnett Place CID, metro Atlanta, Georgia.

“Establishing a foothold in the Gwinnett Place location builds upon Hollis Cobb’s strategy of committing to locations with quality employees who can best serve our clients,” said Greg Hocutt, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hollis Cobb Associates. “Gwinnett County is a leader in quality workforce and we have found this to be invaluable to our organization.”

The new 27,000-square-foot facility is strategically located in the Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (CID) on Satellite Boulevard in the Class A Satellite Place property. This new location will allow Hollis Cobb Associates to accommodate their rapidly growing workforce and will bring hundreds of new jobs to Georgia and Gwinnett County over the next few years.

“Hollis Cobb Associates’ expansion of their regional headquarter operation is yet another win for Georgia and Gwinnett County,” said Lindsay Martin, Director of Existing Industry and Regional Recruitment for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. “We are excited about all the new economic growth in this region, and we look forward to supporting our economic development partners and corporate citizens as this trend continues.” Hollis Cobb Associates currently has almost 350 employees across four locations in the United States, with 160 of those jobs located in Gwinnett.

“Gwinnett County is committed to creating an economic environment that encourages its businesses to grow,” said Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chair, Charlotte Nash. “We are excited that Hollis Cobb Associates is remaining, expanding, and thriving in our community.”
Founded in 1977 by Hollis L. Cobb, Hollis Cobb Associates offers accounts receivable solutions to hospital systems and large physician groups. Their services include: Early Out Self-Pay, AR & Conversion Cleanup Programs, Billed Claim Follow-Up and Pre-Legal & Legal Collections.

“This is another major announcement in 2016 for Gwinnett Place CID, following on the heels of Kaiser Permanente,” said Joe Allen, Executive Director of Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District. “Companies such as Hollis Cobb and Kaiser Permanente moving here is testament to Gwinnett Place being an area where businesses can invest and grow.”

Georgia Department of Economic Development’s (GDEcD) Lindsay Martin represented the state in partnership with Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development, Georgia Power’s Lauren Lambiase and Glenn Aspinwall, Executive VP at Jones Lang LaSalle Commercial Real Estate Agency.

“Gwinnett County and Satellite Place reap the benefits of its strategic and affordable office location with convenient access to major transportation corridors including I-85, SR 316 and more,” explained Glenn Aspinwall, Executive Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle. “There are also plenty of housing options, as well as dining and entertainment so people can truly live, work and play in Gwinnett.”

In March of this year Hollis Cobb Associates announced its acquisition of Healthcare Financial Services, LLC. This represents Hollis Cobb’s fifth acquisition in the past three years, and the largest deal as measured by revenue added to the Hollis Cobb family to date.

“This announcement is yet another excellent example of how Gwinnett remains a strong draw for major corporations such as Hollis Cobb,” said Andrew Carnes, Director of Economic Development. “Companies look to Gwinnett County as a prime location to better reach national markets and grow their business.”
