Second Annual Gwinnett Beer Fest Returns to Coolray Field

The 2nd annual Gwinnett Beer Fest will take place on Saturday, June 4th at Coolray Field, home of the Gwinnett Braves in Lawrenceville. With unlimited samplings of over 150 craft beers, live music in the stadium, delicious food, festival games and more – the event will be a destination for beer enthusiasts throughout the Southeast. Brought to you by the creators of Suwanee Beer Fest, voted “Best Festival in Gwinnett” by the 2014 and 2015 Gwinnett Daily Post ReaderÂ’s Choice Awards, the event organizers are committed to making this GwinnettÂ’s next legendary beer festival. This may take place at a minor league stadium, but it is sure to be a major league beer fest!

Tickets are on sale now at gwinnettbeerfest.com. Tickets are $40 for General Admission and $110 for VIP. But don’t wait – ticket prices increase to $45 starting Saturday, May 14th and will be $50 at the door on June 4th, if available. In an effort to encourage safe driving, Pruitt Law is sponsoring 100 designated driver tickets, available free of charge while supplies last with the purchase of a General Admission ticket. General Admission guests receive unlimited tasting of over 150 beers, a commemorative tasting glass, access to all vendors, games and live entertainment. VIP ticketholders receive everything included in General Admission, plus: one hour early entry to the stadium, access to the 2nd level party decks and airconditioned suites; a catered food spread; a free 2016 Gwinnett Beer Fest T-shirt and free, designated parking.

This year’s festival has a very unique twist. Be on the lookout for, quite possibly, the world’s first-ever Beer Fest Wedding! Craft beer lovers Guy Beck and Kelly Smith will be taking the festival stage at 2:30pm to officially tie the knot. Festival attendees will be invited to watch the ceremony, try to catch the bottle cap garter belt and to raise a toast with an “I Do Brew” made exclusively for the event by Jekyll Brewing in Alpharetta. Then, keep your eyes on the main stage for local-favorite, country band LAUGHLIN to rock the main stage. The band, led by dynamic husband-wife duo started in Athens, Georgia but recently moved to Nashville. They are excited to come back to their home state to play at Gwinnett Beer Fest for the second year in a row. Other festivities during the festival include a wing-eating contest sponsored by Taco Mac and a chance to win a 2016 GMC Canyon SLT truck giveaway from Jim Ellis Buick GMC Mall of Georgia!

The Gwinnett Beer Fest is dedicated to supporting and celebrating the American craft beer culture while also giving back to the community. A large portion of proceeds will benefit local nonprofit organization, Little Kings & Queens. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.gwinnettbeerfest.com.
