We’ve noticed a lot of apps with a local angle springing up lately to help you interact with your cities, businesses, and neighbors in Gwinnett. Here’s our roundup of some of them. Let us know if there are any we’ve missed.
For hundreds of Gwinnett neighborhoods, Nextdoor is the best way to stay in the know about what’s going on in your neighborhood—whether it’s finding a last-minute babysitter, learning about an upcoming block party, or hearing about a rash of car break-ins. There are so many ways our neighbors can help us. We just need an easier way to connect with them. Duluth police even use the app to receive non-emergency complaints and to send out alerts.
Now there’s just one source you’ll need for everything Peachtree Corners – the “Corners Connect” app. Find events, dining and entertainment, bus routes, city information, news, weather and more. You can use the app to report a non-emergency police issue, traffic problem, find links, phone numbers to pay your water bill, county property taxes or to register to vote. The Fix-It App is also accessible through the new app.
When the Town Center opens, the parking feature will be activated to help you find a parking spot within the Town Center and provide assistance navigating to available parking spots.
What if you could park in a space closest to any mall entrance, when you want? Book a convenient parking space in advance or right when you get to Mall of Georgia. MyPark® has developed an intelligent, connected reservation unit that enables consumers to locate and reserve a prime parking spot in the best locations close to where they want to be at the mall.
